Bust of Mark Twain. Mark Twain was the pen name of the American author,humorist, publisher and lecturer Samuel L Clemens who is best known for his stories of American boyhood including Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

This 3/4 life size “desktop” bust of one of the great American writers and social commentator – Mark Twain is one of an edition of only 50 pieces to be hand cast by the artist. The work, which stands at around 16 inches or 40 cm including mahogany base, is cast in bronze resin and finished with a light verdigris over black patination and is one of a series of literary sculptures by the artist. Attached to the base (though not illustrated) is a brass plaque simply inscribed “Mark Twain” although these can be custom made with wording of your choice if desired. Foundry cast versions of the Mark Twain bust are available on request. Priced at £425 excluding delivery the sculpture is only available direct from the artist.
